The company is primarily active in advanced additive masterbatches, while also operating dedicated capabilities in polymer synthesis, reactive chemistry and functional coatings.
By combining formulation expertise, pilot processing and application validation within one integrated environment, IP FAB can support projects from early material concepts to industrial implementation. Our development workflows are designed to rapidly translate ideas into scalable polymer solutions, including the transition from gram scale laboratory development to ton scale masterbatch manufacturing.
The platform allows materials to be formulated, compounded and processed into films or coatings and evaluated under realistic application conditions. This integrated approach creates direct feedback loops between material design, processing and end use performance, accelerating development while reducing technical risk.
One example is IP FAB’s photovoltaic polymer platform, where materials can be integrated into mini modules and evaluated through lamination studies, electrical characterization and accelerated reliability testing such as damp heat, thermal cycling and UV exposure. These application driven validation workflows help optimize material performance under realistic operating conditions.
